Windowsill Mini Herb Garden
Grow some herbs in these terracotta pots and put them out if you have a wide ledge too. Take advantage of the sun in your kitchen window and grow some herbs. The olive branch on this pottery will fit right into a traditional kitchen. Have rosemary, thyme, or sage growing in your window in the Cassetta Olive, a matching flower box from Deroma's Olive pottery line. It's also a great container for centerpieces on long tables at a garden wedding, or alfresco dinner tables. These classic garden pots, adorned with a fruiting olive branch, are made from Terra di Galestro from the Tuscan hills, a raw material obtained from a gray rock that then takes on its characteristic red color when burned. The old clay composition is a mixture of clayey minerals that enrich the basic properties of this earth, including pyrite, which gives the planters an irregular effect and makes each pot one-of-a-kind. The Olive Bell Pot is available in a 7-inch and 11-inch size; they're shown together, sitting side by side, on the window ledge in our image.
