A Flower Arrangement Inspired By A Gauguin Painting: Floral designer Lindsey Taylor channels the lazy, hazy sensuality of a Post-Impressionist classic for The Wall Street Journal. WHILE ESCAPING the summer swelter in the galleries of Manhattan's Metropolitan Museum of Art, she came across "The Siesta," a painting by the French Post-Impressionist Paul Gauguin.
