Martha Stewart Weddings, 2017 Oscars

Who says the red carpet should only inspire your wedding dress? Premiere events—like the Oscars—are the perfect place to pick up some serious wedding inspiration too, especially for your flowers! Floral design is what makes the biggest statement on your big day (besides you, of course), and there are plenty of ways to incorporate celebrity style wins into your arrangements.

Viola Davis was a vision in red on Oscar night, so Denise Fasanello Flowers took her bold, modern Armani style statement and channeled it into a uniform arrangement of bright red anemones. It's the perfect choice for a classic bride who gravitates towards daring colors.

Janelle Monae's Elie Saab Oscar gown was every bit the jaw-dropping red carpet moment people dream of. From the texture to the metallic embellishments and eye-popping silhouettes, there's a whole lot of (good) drama going on here. Lilli from Mimosa Floral Design Studio incorporated these elements into a trendy, over-the-top arrangement that boasts roses, black ranunculus, orchids, gold-painted leaves, silver-painted scabiosa pods, a black velvet ribbon and so much more.

Naomie Harris' modern Calvin Klein number—with its peekaboo cutout and trailing cape—was all about clean, architectural lines. Blush Design's Jeeyun made sure her arrangement spoke the same style language, with white Phalaenopsis orchids and white and yellow calla lilies (to match Harris' pop of color on the shoe!). Super elegant, these architectural blooms exude the same modern vibes as Harris' look. — Martha Stewart Weddings.
